چکیده

In order to get insight information of the band structure acoustic metamaterials (AMMs) in condensed matter, periodic lattice structures are analyzed using Bloch’s theorem. Typical approaches computation methods, topology optimization, and tunable abilities cannot overcome gap between two-dimensional (2D) AMMs theoretical three-dimensional (3D) specimens’ experimental data yet. this work, variation results obtained from 2D mathematical model computed with respect 3D models, related cause is explored. The mode shapes AMMs, quasi-2D specimen models followed reveal boundary conditions source for observed differences structures. discrepancies verified by finite element method (FEM) corresponding conditions. It found that outcomes computational diverted significantly means bandgap, structure, stress distribution counterparts model. This approach can provide assistance computing practical applications.

Three-dimensional Ultrathin Planar Lenses by Acoustic Metamaterials

Acoustic lenses find applications in various areas ranging from ultrasound imaging to nondestructive testing. A compact-size and high-efficient planar acoustic lens is crucial to achieving miniaturization and integration, and should have deep implication for the acoustic field. However its realization remains challenging due to the trade-off between high refractive-index and impedance-mismatch....

Acoustic metamaterials for new two-dimensional sonic devices

It has been shown that two-dimensional arrays of rigid or fluidlike cylinders in a fluid or a gas define, in the limit of large wavelengths, a class of acoustic metamaterials whose effective parameters (sound velocity and density) can be tailored up to a certain limit. This work goes a step further by considering arrays of solid cylinders in which the elastic properties of cylinders are taken i...

Numerical Scrutinization of Three Dimensional Casson-Carreau Nano Fluid Flow

This study presents the computational analysis of three dimensional Casson and Carreau nanofluid flow concerning the convective conditions. To do so, the flow equations are modified to nonlinear system of ODEs after using appropriate self-similarity functions. The solution for the modified system is evaluated by numerical techniques. The results show the impacts of involving variables on flow c...
